Bob Canham’s sense of urgency in producing results is un-matched. Bob began his career managing and brokering a portfolio of single family homes after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the early 1970s. Bob joined Sunchase American in 1990. During his tenure as Regional Vice President, he was involved in operations, acquisitions, analysis, and strategic planning for a portfolio of 14,000 apartment units located along the East Coast and in the Midwest. His vision and sense of purpose continues to motivate and inspire the Sunchase American team of professionals.




Jim Huffstickler holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and is a CPA. His career began in 1971 with a local syndication and development company. In 1980, he joined a major multi-state management company where he attained the position of Senior Vice President for Accounting and Finance. His responsibilities included accounting services and financial management for more than 500 apartment communities in 37 states. In Jim’s words, “There is no substitute for accuracy, quality and efficiency.”

Executive Vice President

Phil Wilson has been responsible for a portfolio of 14,000 units during over 25 years of property management experience. He has been involved in areas such as operations, accounting, reporting, executive management and human resources and leads a team of more than 200 employees. Mr. Wilson ensures property performance and oversees financial reporting.
